Welcome to my home page. My real name is david gerónimo, best-known in the
demoscene world as yero. This website shows some of my works in this area, focused on creating real time motion graphics mixing art and technology. My fields of interest are really wide, as I am the coder and graphician of
Sector Omega group, musician of
Concept, director and web admin of
modulez music community, and co-coder of
Spanish Report System.
In the "real life" facet, I'm 27 years old, and I'm a
PhD Student of Computer Science at the
Computer Vision Center,
Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona. My current research field is
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems based on Artificial Vision.
According to my current work in computer vision, in this new version of the site (the fifth or so I think) I've included a section about my thesis theme -Pedestrian detection-, where I'll add some references and texts about the field if I have any time (not sure at all ;).
Finally, I'd like to thank and greet some people, in case they hanged around this page :) Firstly, to all the demoscene people, for being so productive (eeh!!), and creating wonderful art just because they love art.. specially to JosSs, my mate at Sector Omega, for his patience with my guidelines and constant-rebuilding of his tunes for our demos O:) And to herotyc, my long-time friend of modulez :) Greetz also to my friends, you know who you are, for all the laughs together. To my family, specially the ones who are not here with us anymore, you'll be with me every minute of my life. And last but not least, to my Verónica, inspiration and day-by-day support :)
